NPSS
North Parramatta Sinhala School (NPSS) was founded in 1990 by a dedicated group of Sri Lankans passionate about preserving their heritage. Our mission is to nurture the Sinhalese language and culture among young people of Sri Lankan background living in Sydney, while also helping them develop strong leadership skills for the future. Over the years, the school has grown into a vibrant community where students, parents, and teachers come together to celebrate traditions, share knowledge, and build lasting friendships. Through language classes, cultural activities, music, and dance, NPSS provides students not only with an education but also with a sense of belonging and pride in their roots. Today, we continue to serve as a bridge between generations, inspiring our youth to carry forward the values of our heritage while thriving in a multicultural Australian society.
